• Right from the begining even before sharpening care of the knife is the most important aspect of a sharp knife  .  Keeping the blade away from any hard surface is the key  .  That means absolutly no cutting on plates , oven trays  ,  Stainless Steel or stone bench tops . Never put your knife in a kitchen sink , dishwasher or draws with other knives  , doing so risks your blades  to chipping or folding over the edge . Wipe  your knife with a wet cloth after use and place it in a wooden block made to fit . Glass chopping boards are  witless . Use a wooden or plastic  chopping board . Following this advice means you don't have to sharpen your knife so often , if at all in the near future .

Because our knives are customised, they take time to make and we cannot rush the process. Depending on how many orders we are fulfilling, a custom made knife can take 6 - 8 weeks to make from start to finish. However, talk to us about your specific order, as there are always varying factors that may impact how long it takes to create your perfect knife.

We aim to have your knife delivered through NZ Post within 3-5 business days within New Zealand at a flat rate of $8.

Delivery to rural areas may take up to 5-8 business days and can cost $12.

For overseas purchases, delivery times and prices may vary and will be calculated individually.
